Congrats! We got our greencard already and got txt on the 5th that EAD was ordered although we dont need it now but we would like to see this combo card everyone is talking about....lol

Dong worry... I saw on the news that SSA and immigration services will not be affected..

Hopefully we all finish up smoothly... We are all so close!!

It doesn't matter now, anyways, since they have reached an agreement and there won't be a shutdown.

We recieved Employment Authorization Card in the mail today!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^_^ I was getting worried at first cause everyone was getting theres before their I485 Appointments except me. But i finally got it today. There were no emails or texts of its status change, i even called the hotline and checked case number all it would tell me is that my case had been moved to Lee Summit, MO. But today it showed up out of the blue i was so happy i didnt even close the mail box before i had it opened and looking at my wifes Card. I drove straight home thanking Jesus the whole way lol. Im so happy that we finally got it and now am very confident that the interview will go very well and we will get approved there. I took four months putting the paper work together making sure everything was correct, assembled correct, clearly printed and legible and im happy to see the hardwork paid off ^_^ Thank you all for your support and hang in there everyone. Were looking forward to our interview ^_^

Congrats to you all!

No news here, but given everyone else's timelines from biometrics to EAD/AP, I don't expect us to be hearing much before the end of this month, since we waited for our biometrics appointment date, and it was only at the end of last month.

Ah well. Patience is a virtue and good things come to those who wait.
