Hey everyone. I have my interview on the 5th of may. But now with this stupid government shutdown, im concerned that it will effect my appoinment any one else heard if this is the case or will USCIS be unaffected?

Congrats that is nice to get everything! We got greencard and welcome letter on the first of April....we got txt on the 5th that EAD card was ordered but up until now we still have not gotten the EAD

I believe its Feb filers' turn to celebrate and today I got approved for the EAD, after its production is ordered. Hope I get it soon.

I have a job start date too, 18th April, and I will partly be working from home to spend time with my baiby. The good Lord is an awesome God!!!

I just got a text and email saying my interview is on May 13 th!!! I'm so happy!!

I was going to call USCIS about my EAD today but I guess it doesn't matter at this point. If

it's coming, it's coming, If it's lost and I would have to re submit it all that would take so

long no point even doing that.

After the interview how long does it usually take to get the green card? And if they

stamp my passport, could I start working that day?

I just got a text and email saying my interview is on May 13 th!!! I'm so happy!!

to receive the green card after the interview, it depends if you are approved right away or if they request some stuff from you. check the processing time section for AOS, if you are approved, it should be less than 30 days, I suppose one or two weeks.

With the stamp, I dont know if you can work.

I just reveived a e-mail that they order the card production for the I-485 application, such a great feeling! I am so happy there was no RFE for a stupid lost medical or something.

I want it in hand because I know in life you never know...

I of course wish you all good luck, it looks like everything goes well for feb filers.

Just got status of my husband's EAD is now in card production status!! YAY! Now we can patiently wait for the Green Card. The EAD was the most important to us, so he could start work, so a very happy day! Hope it arrives fast now.

Congrats! We got our greencard already and got txt on the 5th that EAD was ordered although we dont need it now but we would like to see this combo card everyone is talking about....lol

Dong worry... I saw on the news that SSA and immigration services will not be affected..

Hopefully we all finish up smoothly... We are all so close!!
