Thanks - and it gets better! After the first text, which I've now found out was at 1:29am, they sent her another text at 5:13am, to let her know that her EAD had been approved, and then they sent her yet another text at 6:13am, to let her know that her AP had been approved too!

It's a good thing all this happened on March 31 and not a day later - we would have thought it was some kind of April Fool's joke. :P

So now she's expecting that stuff - hopefully the new combined card - sometime in April, and then the I-485 interview is May 3... this is all moving along much faster than the I-129F did last year!

Congrats HI-UG!!

My online status for the EAD (AP still the same) skipped all the stages from Initial review to card/document production and this all happened on April 01st Fools day but I believe its true.

Does any one have an idea how long it will take to receive the EAD card since in most cases they over promise with the 30 days timeline?

Congrats that is nice to get everything! We got greencard and welcome letter on the first of April....we got txt on the 5th that EAD card was ordered but up until now we still have not gotten the EAD

I was excited that i have an interview earlier but now im concerned cause everyone else is getting the interview around the same time as me but they also got there other stuff approved already and i Havent? We were able to walk in and do our biometriicson Friday. It was easy as pie. We went in a half hour before they closed and it was like a ghost town in there. In and out in 15 minutes. Hopefully this will help speed the rest of the process up.

I believe a single interview is the "normal" case, but our interview isn't until May, so I don't know about the stamp.

Still No Biometrics...should I be worried??? No touch Nothing after it was transfered to CSC

Hi rohitsakp,

Since its outside the normal 30 days after filing, try calling USCIS and they will do a service request for you and your Biometrics Appt letter should be in the mail box within the following 10 days. Just explain that your case was even transferred to California for faster processing but you never received your biometrics appt yet. The guy who did it for us was so nice and understanding.

I swore I wouldn't be so ####### about the AOS as I was about the K1. I lied.I majorly lied. I am pacing back and forth as the time nears that a good majority of folks are getting the green cards. In my head all I keep hearing is Green card Green card....kind of like the little engine that could.....that green card thought, keeps speeding up in anticipation and hope. All the what if's and such are driving me bonkers. One thing is for sure. If you have someone who needs to learn patience......put them through the immigration process!

You can stand me at the gates of hell, but I wont back down.
