Congrats that is nice to get everything! We got greencard and welcome letter on the first of April....we got txt on the 5th that EAD card was ordered but up until now we still have not gotten the EAD

Hi everyone! seems like our group has been pretty silent lately? well, I guess everyone is just waiting to hear from USCIS. :whistle:

well, guess what? after days of waiting and wondering, I got a letter in the mail today for AP. :dance:

I'm just wondering though coz I know that they recently came out with an update that EAD and AP will be in one card now. So this letter that I got, is this the AP already? it's the I-512L.

anyway, I'm just so happy coz somehow I felt relieved that my case is moving. hoping and looking forward to getting the EAD and Intereview letter soon. :star:

phardream, what did you receive exactly? is it paper (3 sheets?) or a card, or something else?

I read in the WIki pages here that the AP was 3 sheets but I think the info might have been dated...

hi kizza! i received 2 exact copies of it with my biometrics pic on the bottom of the page. :)

I dont plan on using it though coz I've overstayed and dont wanna take the risk of not being able to go back here. Im just glad to know that the case is moving. :thumbs:

Good idea not to take a chance with leaving the country. Ive been refused entry before, so if I do travel with the AP, it will be with a lot of extra documentation too.

My case just showed up on line!!!! They mailed me my interview appointment letter yesterday!!!! April 26 is the day!

I don't know if this matters or not, just wanted to share my experience: I could not see my case online for almost two months. I was checking all 4 receipts numbers, but today, only the one for I-485 showed online. For the other ones, I still get the "Your case cannot be found at this time in My Case Status" message. Anywho, we are super excited!!!

wow! :dance: Good luck! that's a month from now so you have a lot of time to get things done still! I guess soon you'll be receiving your EAD & AP as well. I sure hope I'd get my EAD and interview letter soon too. Still hoping before the month ends.. :P

with regards to the case showing up online, maybe they're just updating it when it's in the final stages already. maybe they're too busy to put it in at first and the system just automatically updates the case status online when they input the final processes? hmmm... well, I guess all we have to do is check once in a while and hope to see it pop out there with the update that we want to see! :D

02.22.2011- (DAY 16) Received Biometrics Appt. for March 15th

03.15.2011- (DAY 37) Biometrics Appt.

03.30.2011- (DAY 52) Text/email saying Interview letter was out today for Appt. date for May 5th!!!

03.31.2011- (DAY 53) Faxed letter to congressman to request Expedite EAD

04.01.2011- (DAY 54) Received appt. letter in mail

04.06.2011- (DAY 59) Text/email that EAD is in production & congressman's office called to let us know it was approved!!

04.11.2011- (DAY 64) Text/email that EAD is Approved..?? what

04.12.2011- (DAY 65) Text/email that EAD is Approved and in production again.... hmmm??

04.16.2011- (DAY 69) Received EAD in the mail!!!!!

04.18.2011- (DAY 71) Applied for ssn

04.22.2011- (DAY 75) Recieved SSN Card!

05.05.2011- (DAY 88) Interview in Baltimore, MD <--- APPROVED!

05.14.2011- (DAY 97) Recieved "Welcome" Letter

05.16.2011- (DAY 99) Recieved text/email that GC is on its way!!
