I doubt it. I think the NRA have brainwashed all members into believing that guns are not actually weapons at all, but just a tool in the workshop with the sole purpose of firing projectiles in a harmless fashion.

You're acting as if the intent of someone to use something makes that object worse. You're interjecting someone's actions onto an inanimate device. Do you still not see the connection of people doing something with the device as opposed to the device making people do something?

More semantics I see. I would take you guys more seriously if you would admit that guns are weapons that have specific functions that have nothing to do with benignly firing projectiles, and everything to do with stopping an animal or human in its tracks preferably by killing it. I would rather not imagine that hunters go out to shoot animals with the sole purpose of stopping threats that cause them to fire and leaving a trail of suffering animals in their wake.
