What legislation could you possibly imagine would stop a mother who is able to kill her own children? Ludicrous.

The last time I recall something like this was a so called "mother" in South Carolina who latched her kids in the back seat of the car and drove it into a lake. Maybe we should ban lakes or do psychiatric tests for people that want to drive cars. But usually they just toss the baby in a dumpster. Ban dumpsters!

It is lost on you that regardless of the laws in place this woman killed her kids.

I do think there are some gun owners who deliberately obfuscate the issues as regards the emotional distance one can have when dispatching someone with a gun as apposed to other methods that require actual physical contact with the victim and how that contact significantly changes the dynamics of killing and the ability of the killer to dispatch more than one victim. I find that incredibly disengenuous and wonder if these people really can't connect the dots. If they can't, then surely they are not responsible enough to own the guns they cherish?

Are you saying that killing more than one person at a time is worse than killing just one? And killing them in a more "disconnected" way somehow makes it better?
