Hi guys,

For those who got interviewed at the US Embassy in Manila AND whose NBI clearance had either "No criminal record" or "No record (or something like this)", could you advise what question(s) was asked about it? Also, there is a question on that on DS-230 (p4):

41. Have you ever been charged, arrested, or convicted of any offense or crime?

For those who answered yes (or who has knowledge of someone who did) - was there any question about it, what was the question(s), and the result of the question/answer? Is a "yes" to this question an automatic issuance of 221g?

My mom is quite nervous about her upcoming interview and I am trying to coach her so she can get a visa right away. Please advise. Thanks!
