:( called NVC was told i have an RFE. They want original birth certificate and marriage certificate. I had provided the certified copies but they dont accept that :( ...thiss suxxx :(

Ugh, that does suck. In a process like this one, every day counts! Good luck, I hope it's resolved quickly!

Ugh, that does suck. In a process like this one, every day counts! Good luck, I hope it's resolved quickly!

Unfortunately my case will be on hold for a lil while now... my wife is out of town for a family wedding and wont return till late next week.. and then she has to send the docs.. only if i had gotten the RFE last week :(.. oh well goodluck to all of u guys.

@saylin I talked to the operator they want to see the originals no way around it. oh well .. hopefully they will return all originals at the time of interview

That sucks. They say on their website they accept certified copies headbonk.gif But yes, don't worry, they'll return it at the interview. If they don't just remind them. I've heard a few cases where the officer forgets laughing.gif

AOS bill appeared as paid about an hour ago! Added the coversheet to our package and then emailed it off! I'm so happy our bill appeared as paid only after a bit more than a day :D I really wanted to send this I-864 package off before the weekend.

i was told yesterday and also today per operator that my case is complete and i just got email with checklist ,,so i called NVC again and she said we have yr case completed and thats all we can say and our main concern to evacuate americans in egypt bla bla

so i wana ask you guys is it common to get checklist with yr case already completed ?

and this is wt they asking for in the checklist even we sent all the IRS taxes for the past 3 years

Our RFE Checklist Info Letter from NVC....The RFE that we have in our case is not much complicated just need to change Form I-864EZ to Form I-864 co'z my husband is a Retired US Navy so we thought that I-864ez is the one that match for our case which is NOT so NVC requested the Form I-864 For those who have joint sponsor make sure to have their PASSPORT COPY or other documents that will serve as a proof of their US citizenship, US passport copy will work though..one more thing If the q's in each form is not applicable to you or to your sponsors MUST indicate N/A in the appropriate boxes...DOUBLE CHECK ALL THE DOCUMENTS BEFORE SENDING it to NVC to AVOID RFE or DELAYS in your application...

Just send our RFE today via express mail. Praying to get SIF after this..Hope this inputs help VJmembers .Goodluck to all February NVC Filers...!!!

Angeli thanks for the inputs :thumbs:..I'm going to have my advance medical on monday, hope the letter from NVC with NVC Case No will work to have my advance medical..ofcourse with my passport :P
