Just got off the phone with an NVC operator. I was told that no more April interviews are being scheduled and its going to be the 2nd week of May, at the earliest. This kinda confirms that US Embassy in Manila, Philippines only schedule interviews on 2nd week of the month. Can someone confirm otherwise?

Also, I did not get a "case complete" notification via email - I just got that info off the IVR.

Still hoping for an April interview though. Will calling NVC repeatedly help? Any suggestions?

I don't know about the Philippines, but I know for Canada that they schedule interviews all month long, not just the second week, even though the operators tell me that they only schedule the 2nd week of each month. And don't listen to just the word of one operator. Call up multiple operators and if they ALL say there are no more April interviews, only then believe them.

For the case complete email, I believe only those doing EP will get them as I received mine from NVCElectronic@state.gov which is the email address for those doing EP.

And yes, I'd suggest to keep calling NVC every single day until you get an interview date. Also consider calling up DOS every day as well.

I haven't gotten my CC email as well. Also, have been calling the NVC each day and they keep saying, "they are actually still scheduling and tomorrow will be the last day they schedule. Try calling back at end of week."

Good luck! Let's hope they schedule quickly, the wait for this is worse than waiting for the USCIS!

I don't think you'll be getting one. I believe it's only for those doing EP.

Hopefully you'll hear something soon about your interview date!

We were told also that there are no more interview dates available for April. And I don't think they only schedule every second week cause if you will base it from others' timelines (from Philippines), they were scheduled even on the third week of the month. So, let's wait a little longer. And yea, let's bug them every single day :D

Finally.. mailing in the IV Packet right now.

The NVC has the IV packet as of 03/16/11. Maybe someone can answer: I want to make sure that I have things "straight". SIF is sign in failure on the NVC sight that has the status of the fee bill? And the when that happens it means that the CC is imminent? Is the CC that is announced found on the AVR? Does it do any good to be proactive on getting an interview date or should one just wait for the email from the NVC for the date? Who do you call for the interview date?

Personal Info:

flew to Indonesia in Feb. 2010 for 2 weeks

back to Jakarta on June 15 to prepare for:

Yes, SIF is a real good indication that the case is complete and it's the payment portal site where you log in to see/pay bills.

The CC is announced on the AVR and the operator can also confirm this.

You can't be proactive when it comes to an interview date. There's no way to get it faster. You can either find out from an operator or just wait for the email from NVC. You can call both NVC and also DOS at 202-663-1225 (press 1 and then 0 for a visa specialist). DOS isn't open as long as NVC is though, so you won't be able to call after 5. And they only open at 8:30am. I call both NVC and DOS daily to see if an interview date has been assigned.
