We got a call from the congress office, they are still helping us in NVC after USCIS. It was them who offered it so they call Matt every Wednesday for an update. And they always call the congressional hotline of NVC so even if the operator or system has no idea about it, they know first. So, Matt received a call from them today, he was told that in IV packet, there were missing papers. I don't know how that happen, there were just 11 sheets (including the photocopies) and they will say that some are missing? Our AOS has 93 pages but there no complaints about it.

I think I've read somewhere here that the NVC gives false RFE sometimes on the IV packet? Can someone please confirm it?

Thank you!

NVM I looked it up is it just China, Turkmenistan, Canada, and Mexico. Well my point to all this is that was fast for regular processing. Congrats again

Hey. We almost have the same timeline. :)

There are false RFEs for the IV packet. But to me, it sounds like it's a real one since you said: "he was told that in IV packet, there were missing papers". The false RFE is for the whole package, but you mentioned IN the package there's missing papers. Have you called an operator up yet to ask about it?

The operator has no idea about it when Matt called. O_O We are puzzled.

Try calling again and seeing if you get the same answer. It's common to get different answers from different operators. One says this, while another says that. I say if you call like 2 more times and both say there isn't an RFE, then there probably isn't.

Okay, I will do that and put an update here. That's really terrifying! lol I'm so happy you got your SIF and CC already!!! You had your asking comfort when Ben left :D So, putting the case numbers on the forms were not a problem at all!!! :D

Yup, definitely would like to hear the outcome from calling more operators for your case.

And thanks! It was a definitely nice present from NVC since I said goodbye to Ben yesterday and won't be seeing him again till I'm in the USA.

Writing case numbers will never be a problem as NVC suggests doing it.

Several operators confirmed that our AOS is done and that they're waiting for IV packet.

So another confirmation from the congress and several operators, they were just waiting for IV packet to show up and it's not about missing papers. According to USPS, it was delivered Feb 28th. I hope they will find it soon.

The BC and MC aren't needed for the AOS for IR-1/CR-1 visas. But since you're petitioning for your mom, I'm guessing you need to include the birth certificate to show that she is indeed your mother. I don't know why they're asking for the marriage certificate though...

If the IV bill is avail to pay, does that mean that the I-864 was excepted with no problems? There shouldn't be any problems, but I was kind of in a hurry when I threw it together.

Nope, it doesn't mean that at all. The IV bill only appears once the DS-3032 is accepted. It has nothing to do with the AOS package.
