I have a q's...my case was completed last February 23 2011..does it mean the same date NVC send my packet to my foreign US embassy? Any inputs will be very much appreciated..thanks in advance!

Hey Babs! any updates in your interview schedule?...does your documents already in the system in US manila embassy?...planning to call to us embassy today just wanna know the status of my papers..uhmm,,,

I stapled and used paperclips and used binder clips , I dont think it matters. Just make sure you put the Barcoded Cover sheet on front of the whole package.

You have to wait 2 months coz they need to culture the sputum so even you have your interview schedule they need to re schedule it again after your medical is ok...

Oh so if you test positive for Tuberculosis you dont pass the medical exam. I think my husband had the vaccine for that many years ago, Thank God.

What if sputum test is positive? My friend here said they will cancel your case until you undergo treatment . For tuberculosis treatment she said it takes 6 months then another sputum test and x-ray after treatment. That can really delay everything. Elmer did his medical today was his day 2 and he passed.

I had to re-send my documents again today as per operator's suggestion since they still haven't received/reviewed either package that I sent more than 2 weeks ago. I'm just hoping NVC got a lot of emails and they just haven't gotten to our initial AOS email and that I'll hear something very soon.

I had to re-send my documents too on the 18th...and the AVR is still saying they are "waiting for the biographic forms from the petitioner." I am getting impatient! haha I just want a case complete!

At least your AVR message changed. Since Feb 9, all I'm hearing is: "A packet of information and documents was generated on February 9th, 2011 and will be sent within the next few weeks." I want a new AVR message talking about case complete

We hear the same msg, just our "packet of information" was generated Feb 28th hehe I wonder what takes them so long, you have been hearing that msg for almost a month already!

I'm so tired of hearing it. Yes, it's been almost a month now. And I have yet to receive this packet of information and documents too. I so want a CC message to be next

So what is it in that mysterious packet? Could it be just instructions for IV packet [although we sent it already]? Otherwise what else could that be? hummm...

I believe it's the AOS package. Because the message before the one I'm hearing now was: "NVC has received the immigrant visa fee bill on February 7th, 2011 and will send further instructions within the next few weeks." And that's referring to the DS-230 package which I received already.

Did you receive DS-230 by mail or email? We have received everything by email from them so far.

We got the DS-230 package by email. Same as you, we've gotten everything by email. Did you receive the AOS package? I'm still waiting I know I've sent it in, but I'd still like to receive the damn package from NVC.

We received smth related to AOS by email and then something related to IV by email, so we mailed AOS and IV packages already. That's why I have no idea what to expect from them to be sent by MAIL?
