Hi guys,

My mom's timeline is shown below. Her DS-230 processing was delayed due to unavailability of civil documents. For Filipinos in this forum - is the CFO seminar required for IR-5 applicants? Her NBI Clearance is marked as "No Criminal Record" - anyone knows if she will NOT get a visa right away even if she passes the interview pending a clarificatory letter from the NBI?

Thanks!

I saw in the timeline that your mom did her medical last November. She has to fly on or before May since the validity of the medical is only six months. Or else, she will have to do it again :( I know someone who did it again and paid the same fees, underwent the same medical exam. So I hope everything will go smooth. You are almost done!

I have my "NVC Case Number" from USCIS automated phone service. Im trying to sign into NVC, but need an "Invoice Identification Number" also. I have not recieved a hard copy from the NVC yet. Do I wait for that in order to get the "IIN"?

You either get the IIN from an operator or in the first email NVC sends you with your case number, IIN, etc.

Well if that's what it will take for a smooth-sailing visa process - will do. Thanks for the heads up though.

Give it a couple of days, and talk to a human to get your Invoice I.D. Number. You CAN email the DS-3032 now. All you need for that is your case nr. You probably won't be receiving any Hard Copy from NVC. Mostly, communications are done by email. That is why it is important when you talk to a human to give them both yours and your sponsor's email addresses.

Sad to hear that but dont get upset coz since ur AOS & Packet IV already in PROCESS does not mean you'll get you case complete its a NO cos this will take a month or more depend if they will request for RFE more or less will extend the process to your case to be complete, the 2 months you are going to wait for the result of your sputum test is just not too far for your case to complete good thing is just you made an advance medical so the waiting time is just the same of your processing time for your case to be complete...making advance medical was a good move u made. Don't worry everything will be OK....

Note:

My petition was approved last Dec 27,2010 . Being transferred to NVC Jan 4,2011 request RFE Feb 1,2011 CASE COMPLETE Feb 23...YOU don't have to worry that much. Good luck to your NVC Process. Scroll back all the inputs here in this room there is a lot of tips , do's & dont advice from our VJ's member that they encountered on their process and that will help you filling the forms to avoid mistake and delayed in your process. Good luck & just be patient.

Feb 23 - First Day of Medical.

Feb 24 - Second day but ( I'm for sputum next week.

This is really tough!!!

I don't know how to start. But yes, the scariest thing I heard has come on the day 2 of my medical exam. I got stuck on the x-ray result They said, I need to undergo sputum test that will delay me for TWO MONTHS!!! I can't help but cry in front of them. There were a lot of us actually. Only few passed and more got stuck ( I can't understand why they have to do it. It's really heartbreaking but God allowed this to happen. In time, in God's time, everything will be set in place.

On the other hand, Feb 24, IV fee invoiced and paid it. It is IN PROCESS now.

Oh so if you test positive for Tuberculosis you dont pass the medical exam. I think my husband had the vaccine for that many years ago, Thank God.

Just follow the email template for sending the DS-3032. You don't need to attach it to the email or snail mail the form.

If your AOS is appearing as PAID, then you can mail off your AOS package.
