NVC might not mention it on their website, but they do mention writing case numbers in the package they send out about the DS-230. I quoted it yesterday or the day before. But it doesn't mention at all that it's absolutely needed. Writing case numbers definitely isn't a requirement.

I think when they send out an RFE request they say in the instructions to put your case number on any additional documents they are asking for. Probably because they are only asking for additional items and not asking you to resend the whole form and all the pages.

So to stop all these, Matt called the NVC several times and asked about writing case numbers on the upper left/right hand corner, the operator again and again said it won't be a problem. So, I hope this answers all our doubts and thoughts. But we can still confirm when we get the CC without RFE on it. Also, the operator also told Matt that their computer system is down now that's why we are not yet seeing a PAID status in our account, just thought I want to share it too. And tomorrow, I am excited for my medical. Thanks to you all! And let's continue to hope and pray for a smooth NVC journey.

God bless us all!

Also, Matt made it clear that we also put the case number on I-864 sheets and the operator said, it is okay and it won't cause any problem. :)

Status updated:

Feb 22, 2011 - AOS status marked "PAID". AOS sent. DS3032 accepted.

About the IV fee. Now that it was accepted already, my name is not appearing there anymore. Hehe. Why? And the payment is not yet available too. Anyway, today is my medical day! YahoooO! :D

You do not need to wait for instructions; if you have your case number go ahead. DanTes replied to this earlier in the thread, he has good advice. good.gif

I have been reading a lot of posts that ask "Do I have to wait for packet from NVC?", OR "Do I wait for email from NVC?", etc........After waiting at TSC, I am not waiting on anything!!. I submitted my wife's DS-3032 using the email template after obtaining the NVC case nr. from the phone robot. She did get an email confirmation on that one. When the AOS and the IV were invoiced, I paid online. When the AOS was marked paid, I printed out the bar-coded cover Document Cover Sheet, put the package together, and mailed it (today). The IV is now marked PAID, so I will get that ready, and mail it out on Tuesday. If Monday wasn't a holiday, I would mail it out on Monday. Trying to PRO-ACTIVE rather than waiting. I think most of you are like me; TIRED OF WAITING!!

Yes, at this stage, don't wait for NVC on anything. The only thing you have to wait for is your bills to appear as PAID. Everything else is pushed by YOU.

You must be entering the wrong number because you wont get SIF this soon. Recheck the numbers you are entering and/or call them back and make sure you have have the right numbers.

Feb 23 - First Day of Medical.

Feb 24 - Second day but :(( I'm for sputum next week.

This is really tough!!!

I don't know how to start. But yes, the scariest thing I heard has come on the day 2 of my medical exam. I got stuck on the x-ray result :( They said, I need to undergo sputum test that will delay me for TWO MONTHS!!! I can't help but cry in front of them. There were a lot of us actually. Only few passed and more got stuck :(( I can't understand why they have to do it. It's really heartbreaking but God allowed this to happen. In time, in God's time, everything will be set in place.

On the other hand, Feb 24, IV fee invoiced and paid it. It is IN PROCESS now.

I'd put either 'not working' or 'unemployed'.
