Does anyone know if I need to get a criminal record check from the US? I lived there for 5 years but my understanding is that I do not need one from the US, only from Countries other than the US. I just want to be sure.

Sometimes a local police department in the area you lived will issue a cert showing they have no record for you.

If I remember correctly, you don't need one and it says so in the instructions. One thing's for sure, I didn't get one and everything went smoothly.

Email to inform me that letters for EAD and AP approvals have been sent: 12-22-2010
