As I don't have an alien number, do I leave it blank, put N/A or None? Same thing with the US Social Security Number and Former husbands; Do I just leave it all blank, put N/A or None?

As I was a tourist and married an American, am I going for permanent resident or other? I'm sure it's not Naturalization.

For my employment records, for the address, is the town and province sufficient enough, or do I need the actual street address, town, province, postal code and country? When they ask what my last abroad job was, if not listed above, do I just leave it blank (as I already wrote it above), or write "See above"?

Thanks everyone with your help!

>>> Yes, type None or N/A as applicable.

>>> You can select Permanent Resident

>>> Complete addresses would be helpful to them. in case the information doesn't fit through typing, you may either handwrite the info later or prepare a separate sheet to attach to the G-325A (just make sure you indicate which question you are answering, and at the top of the page, type your name and if it is an annex/appendix to which form). Yes, you may put See Above in that section about your last job abroad.

Thanks everyone with your help!

Do not leave any field blank. N/A if you dont have a SSN and alien reg. #. "None" if you have no previous spouse. I think you should not give them any "smart" answers. Repeat the address or info wherever applicable.

Thank you every one for your help! It's greatly appreciated! Now, I'm on I-130 Petition for Alien Relative. This one I have quite a few questions for.

1. I didn't arrive with a I-94 (You don't need to in Canada), so do I put Zeros all the way across where asked, or just leave that blank (but write when I arrived here)?

2. Relative's native alphabet, N/A or None (I can't decide which to put for many things)

3. #22 - I have NO idea where to even begin

You guys are so much help. Thank you all.

The forms just seem to be getting harder, haha. This is for the I-485 Application to Adjust Status

1. I-94 and Alien Number, None, N/A or 0’s

2. What is my current USCIS Status? I just came here from Canada as a Visitor (though no document was given)

3. When does it expire? *If I have a USCIS Status

4. What am I in Part 2? Like I said, just came here for a visit, married my husband out of the blue, and am now filing this.

5. Where was my Last Entry into the US? I left from Toronto by Plane. I landed in Charlotte, NC, and then arrived to Roanoke, VA.

6. What was my status (Visitor?)

7. Was I inspected by a US Immigration Officer? I was pulled aside in Toronto as I was leaving for so long (5 months) into another room. Were they Immigration Officers, or just security?

8. No Visa, just blank N/A or none for all of this section

9. Is my husband applying with me or no? He lives here, so I wouldn't think so.

10. N/A or None in Part 3

11. Interpreter, N/A or None (as I can speak and read and write english)

Thanks again!

Amy, check out this link http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide2

and this forum. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/130-adjustment-of-status-from-work-student-tourist-visas/

Answer each question literally. You entered as a visitor. Since Canada has a special treaty, you can put "canadian visitor." Your authorized stay is usually 6 months from entry from Canada. You were inspected (presenting a passport at the border is inspection.) Last entry is the place where you entered the US and were inspected (some canadian airports inspect you there in Canada. Confusingly, that can be your POE). No, your husband is not applying with you... he is the sponsor. :) Just stay very literal. Good luck.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!
