I just read a post that said a member tried to log onto his/her NVC account but got an SIF (=sign in fail). My question is in regards to what the member was trying to access. Is there a way to check the status of our case at NVC online. Is this an alternate way of finding information on the case? I have read the posts here and have not found any information on how to access case status at NVC online. Can someone please help me understand this? I'd like to check our case online...if possible. Thanks in advance.

I'm using mobile so can't post link if necessary someone will.

You cannot get case status about your nvc case via internet.

For that you should speak with a person - customer service. The only (online) place that gives us hope/refuge is the payment portal. If you have made your payment online then you would go to the same website using your case # and invoice # located on the correspondence from THE NVC to pay your affidavit ot immigrant viss fee/s etc.

Oct 15 2012 - Pay IV fee
Oct 25 2012 - Sent AOS/IV Package
Oct 29 2012 - Pkg Delivered
Dec 24 2012 - Case Complete
May 17 2013 - Interview-Approved

July 19 2013 - Enter the USA

There are two alternative methods in paying the fees to NVC. If you will use the online payment method, you will be directed to section of the Department of State website where you can pay the fees, provided that you know your NVC case number and invoice identification number. Your account there will exist until your case at NVC is in the final stage. If you can no longer log into your account and it will show something like "Sign In Failed. There is no record of your account at the NVC", that means the NVC had removed your online payment account since your case is already closed or completed. Mostly, case completed can be confirmed with the operator on the same day or 1-2 days after your SIF. I knew someone that took 2 weeks! But you can always call and talk to the operator about the status of your case.
