good day to all. need help from all of you vjs, i bought a smart simcard on my last vacation in the philippines but i dont have a cellphone yet. Can you recomend a cellphone brand that i can use here in US i dont need a expensive one as long as the sim is working and i can receive message from my family i'll be happy. thanks

i would just get a cheap nokia. make sure it's unlocked AKA 'open line' otherwise if the phone is locked to a US carrier the smart sim won't work.

I have smart sim also and it works in any unlocked cell.

Go to Walmart and buy a new ATT cellphone that is prepaid for 650 pesos. Get it unlocked

Or look on craigslist and find a unlocked cellphone cheap that takes a Sims Card, people will sell old cellphones on Craigslist cheap.....

My wife and her friends ude a prepaid plan from I-wireless with international texting for $40 a month. If you live north of St. Louis it may be available in your area.

Like stated before. Any unlocked phone will work. I actually have the roaming sim in a phone that I bought in the PI, but I had an older nokia that I was using before.

I got a cheap ATT GoPhone then bought an unlock code off of EBay for 2 or 3 bucks. I only use it for incoming texts too and it works fine
