From what I understand (I've never gotten an RFE), and someone please correct me if I am wrong, you don't have to use the envelope they provide. You can use a larger full size envelope that will fit m

Still waiting for our NOA1 :( .

Called USCIS this morning. Were told it can take up to 30 days for delivery!!

So we basically have to wait it out should call only call back if we don't receive it in 30 days.

Any suggestions :unsure: ?

Has anyone had a similar experience?

AMEN to that!

I am tired of letting USCIS rule my life. We're turning this thing in, and just letting it ride! It seems like fewer challenges come up in this stage. As long as you have the evidence and compile a thorough ROC Packet, most folks seem to be approved. What do you guys think?

K1 TIMELINE:

01-24-2008 = Sent I-129F to CSC

01-29-2008 = NOA1 Issued

05-28-2008 = NOA2 (125 days after NOA1)

06-02-2008 = NOA2 Hardcopy received; NVC received petition

06-04-2008 = NVC sent package to Costa Rica

06-10-2008 = Embassy received

06-13-2008 = Picked up Packet 3

06-25-2008 = Interview (28 days after NOA2)

07-05-2008 = Home to the U.S. together!

09-20-2008 = Wedding!

AOS/EAD/AP TIMELINE:

10-15-2008 = Sent giant packet to Lockbox

10-22-2008 = NOA1's Issued

11-04-2008 = RFE on AOS only: need birth certificate, ORIGINAL was taken at interview. GRRR

11-24-2008 = Biometrics

12-22-2008 = Mailed RFE packet back

01-02-2009 = AOS processing resumed

01-16-2009 = Service Request filed for EAD (90 days with no news)

I have seen NOA1's take awhile to arrive. Everything is most likely fine - and who knows - it may just show up in your mail box tomorrow. My guess is nothing to worry about just yet. :star:

I am tired of letting USCIS rule my life. We're turning this thing in, and just letting it ride!

This!!!! :D

I'm carefully monitoring the package tracking to make sure they actually get it but once I get my return receipt and NOA1, I'm simply NOT going to worry about it this time. No getting up every morning and checking to see if the case was touched (that sounds awful :lol:), no running to the box 10 seconds after the mail lady drives by... I am done with letting them stress me out :dance:

I do have a quick question, though, if anybody happens to know ;)

Back when we were all in AOS and a lot of us filing from K-1 were transferred to CSC and approved without interview, there was speculation that would mean more scrutiny and interviews at ROC time. Has this turned out to be the case or are they still approving the vast majority of I-751's without any complications?

08/30/08 - I-485/I-765 mailed...

03/17/09 - Card production ordered (no notification received!)

03/26/09 - Green card received (196 days)

04/04/11 - Biometrics appt (notice received 03/19/11)
