Hello everyone i got my receipt Notice date 02/07/2011. the letter says that my conditional status is extended for a period of one year.. this means they are going to send me another one for one year period?

Hi All - Just an update, we received the NOA on February 12th, 2011. So this extends the card for one year, and then the 10 year card is given at the biometric appt??

Also as an update in case this should ever happen to anyone else, we originally were January filers but the packet was returned to us because they wanted us to send in my husband's actual green card as well. My husband was mistakingly given a 10 year green card back in 2009 at his interview. So we sent that back to them, they cashed the check, and returned the card back to us. I guess the copies of the front and back were not enough proof!! Anyway, technically, my husband has a 10 year card, lol. We were surprised they sent back the 10 year card, but they did.

Hi SEKYSK, when is the Receipt Date on your NOA letter? You need that date for the list :)

And yes, your NOA letter extended the card for 1 year. And NO, you won't get 10 year card at the bio appt. You need to wait for their decision after bio. For CSC filer, you need to wait for about 1 to 2 months after bio...
