From what I understand (I've never gotten an RFE), and someone please correct me if I am wrong, you don't have to use the envelope they provide. You can use a larger full size envelope that will fit m

hi guys today i recieved 2 letters from immigration

1st one was small and they said that my application was approved

2nd one was a big envoloppe and has my 10years greencard

so thx for u guys and good luck for everybody

12/02/2008- NOA1

12/07/2008- RFE- Translation of birth certificate.

12/07/2008- Biometrics Appt for 01/03/2009, wondering if I will make to biometrics appointment since my Due Date was on 01/12/2009.

12/21/2008- Sent RFE

01/03/2009- Successful biometrics. (Had contractions throughout the whole appt.) Had my Son the same day after biometrics.

01/22/2009- EAD Approved

02/02/2009- Received EAD.

03/23/2009- Received appt for interview. 04/15/2009

04/15/2009- Interview lasted for less than 10 mins, and got approved! :)

ROC

02/02/2011- Sent ROC package.

02/07/2011- NOA1, checks cashed.

Is there any pattern concerning the "from" country with VSC? If not, I'd go with the earliest bio -- KPC.

It'd be wrong to select myself, especially because I have it in my brain that we're going to get a RFE because we didn't include taxes. He wasn't here for the first year so I filed head of household, second year was complicated because of Canada/US so we filed married/separately. Only this year are we (finally!) filing married/jointly.

Hopefully, a house, credit card statements, joint bank account, and a timeshare are enough to prove co-mingling of finances. We co-mingle other things and yet they don't ask for evidence of that... Go figure! :whistle:

Made the mistake to look at the Jan filer thread...50% of their CSC filers have been approved already and I think 2% of their VSC have been.

My wife (the most impatient person I know :lol:) is getting really agitated with VSC :lol: I'm pretty much chilled out and resigned to the fact it's going to take ages but she's getting annoyed with them :P

Adjustment of Status from K-1 (Very abridged version)

05/20/08 - POE: Chicago O'Hare

07/18/08 - Married

08/30/08 - I-485/I-765 mailed...

03/17/09 - Card production ordered (no notification received!)

03/26/09 - Green card received (196 days)

Removal of Conditions

02/15/11 - I-751 mailed to VSC...

02/22/11 - NOA1 (received 03/03/11)

04/04/11 - Biometrics appt (notice received 03/19/11)

08/22/11 - * * * t u m b l e w e e d s * * * (T+6 months and counting)

09/20/11 - Service Request #1

10/26/11 - Service Request #2

11/29/11 - Interview @ Atlanta Field Office - Approved & I-551 stamped

12/07/11 - Card production ordered

Well, you should look furter. As of today, VSC approval rates are...

January: 6%, December: 4%(!!!), November:48%

So... you have NOA in hand. "Just relax and wait" is my advice ;)
