Just happened to be looking over the latest posts here. I am about to send in my packet probably tomorrow or Monday. What is this about punching holes in the top? Are you punching like the two hole punch in the top so they can put it in a folder? I'll take any tips I can get! I am sending to VSC.

There is a section on the USCIS website that has tips about compiling your packet. One of the tips is to two-hole punch the top of your pages to make it easier for them to create your file. I'm all for making things easy! Here's the link for ya: http://www.uscis.gov...00045f3d6a1RCRD

Just got my Biometrics appointment notice today. :) The notice was sent 3/28/11 and the appointment is set for April 25th at 1:00 PM. Gettin' there slowly but surely.

I Received the biometrics appointment today dated 03/25/11 for 04/22/11

they also send me interview request dated 03/31/11 for 04/19/11

I dont know why i am getting a second interview I sent lots of evidence. bank statements both names on, last 2 years tax returns, pictures from our vacations and etc. we did not have joint bank accounts at the first interview, and we filed married seperate tax returns for 2008, because my wife tax was not ready at the time of interview. I am so frustrated.i already sent all the documents they are asking me to bring same things again

i don't think u need a lawyer, it's just a waste of money..

if in the past u did it without a lawyer then im pretty sure u can do it again..

bring more evidence and u will be fine! ;)

i have a friend who had an ROC interview downtown chicago recently..

she said the officer dint even ask them any questions..

but the officer carefully scrutinized the evidence that they submitted..

That sucks having another interview :(

I would imagine it's just the same as the AOS interview because ultimately, it's the same test of a bona fide marriage. If you passed it once, you can do it again - good luck :) I went through some I-751 tracking threads from late last year and it looks like about 5% of people were getting an interview back then. If you submitted loads of evidence, perhaps it's just bad luck and you drew the short straw? :(

If I were you, I'd try and take an early bio because I doubt they'll be able to approve you there and then at the interview if you haven't done biometrics yet.

Once you're past this though, it looks like you should be on for a speedy two month approval :D

If I were you, I'd try and take an early bio because I doubt they'll be able to approve you there and then at the interview if you haven't done biometrics yet.

Once you're past this though, it looks like you should be on for a speedy two month approval :D

i don't think u need a lawyer, it's just a waste of money..

if in the past u did it without a lawyer then im pretty sure u can do it again..

bring more evidence and u will be fine! ;)

i have a friend who had an ROC interview downtown chicago recently..

she said the officer dint even ask them any questions..

but the officer carefully scrutinized the evidence that they submitted..

my wife went to california for a wedding on the weekend she will be pissed when she hears the news. I have not told her yet I did not want to ruin her weekend

10/30/08 (Day 9) – Received NOA (I130-I485-I765) Dated 10/31/08

10/31/08 (Day 9) - I130, I765, ONLINE BUT I485

11/02/08 (Day 12)- Received Biometrics appointment scheduled 11/15/08

11/07/08 (Day 17)- Biometrics Done Early walking in Norridge,Illinois

11/17/08 (Day 27)- Request for Evidence letter for I485 (they were asking for I94 Arrival record) It took 5 days to arrive online letter was sent 11/12/08

11/18/08 (Day 28)- Request Evidence is I94 sent along with I20,( I was a student), NON immigrant visa page on the passport, also, approval letter of F1 status, because i changed my status after i came to USA.

01/07/09 (Day 108) Card Production Order (Received email at 8:20) EAD

01/14/09 (Day 115) Card Production Ordered (another email saying EAD ordered again)

01/14/09 (Day 115)Interview Received March 9 at 11:00am Chicago office

01/16/09 (Day 117) EAD Received in the mail

03/09/09 Interview in Chicago (Day 169)

03/09/09 APPROVED (Day 169)

03/12/09 WELCOME LETTER RECEVIED I130 APPROVEL RECEIVED IN MAIL (Day 172)

03/19/09 (Day 179)- GREEN CART RECEIVED

12/07/2008- RFE- Translation of birth certificate.

12/07/2008- Biometrics Appt for 01/03/2009, wondering if I will make to biometrics appointment since my Due Date was on 01/12/2009.

12/21/2008- Sent RFE

01/03/2009- Successful biometrics. (Had contractions throughout the whole appt.) Had my Son the same day after biometrics.

01/22/2009- EAD Approved

02/02/2009- Received EAD.

03/23/2009- Received appt for interview. 04/15/2009

04/15/2009- Interview lasted for less than 10 mins, and got approved! :)

ROC

02/02/2011- Sent ROC package.

02/07/2011- NOA1, checks cashed.
