Got our NOA1 today :dance:, stating about the 1-year extansion too, the receipt date on the NOA is 02/17/2010, i don't know if i should put the receipt date on the NOA or I should put the date it got to me in the mail, anyway, I put the reciept date on the NOA here, any editing is welcome.

From what I understand (I've never gotten an RFE), and someone please correct me if I am wrong, you don't have to use the envelope they provide. You can use a larger full size envelope that will fit m

The suspense is KILLING me...I need that NOA in my hand ASAP so I can finally relax :( Making it worse is my husband's GC just expired, so we're now in scary territory. He's had to stop driving since his license expired the same day as his GC. Really hoping the VSC will pick up the pace!!!

Not to mention I'm scared out of my mind I did something wrong and they're going to reject the whole thing again! I reeeeally hope not. Does anyone know if there's a way to check if certified checks have been cashed??

I don't know but you could try asking the bank? (I'd go to the same branch where you got the check rather than calling the bank's own 'misinformation line') There must be a mechanism to trace them because they have to be able to credit them back to your account if they're cancelled...

we sent a certified check and we were able to know the cashed date by just calling the bank..

just make sure u have the check stub handy when u call.. ;)

Oh thanks for sharing that! I'll call the bank tomorrow and find out if it's been cashed. I had a nightmare last night I forgot to sign the check and the whole thing got returned because of that! Sure hope that was only a dream.... :-)

quick questions whoever know this? when am i actually eligible for citizenship as my 2 year card was issued as 03/09/2009 so it is three years when you are married to same spouse 03/09/2012. can i still apply for N400 3 months early or do i have to wait to be exact 3 years.

hi, which service center?

VSC and I too am starting to worry since I'm filing so close to the later part of my 90 daysm and it's been almost a week they received it and still no check cashed... But Im sure it'll all be alright and will probably be hearing from them soon enough...

My timeline ...

AOS 2008

10/27/2008: Sent I-130,-485 and -765.

10/29/2008: USPS delivery confirmation.

11/04/2008: Notice Date.

11/06/2008: NOA for I-130,-485 and -765.

11/13/2008: Biometrics Appointment letter.

11/14/2008:cases online. I-130 and -765.

11/18/2008: I-485 case is online.

11/20/2008: Received RFE.

11/29/2008: Biometric Done.

12/14/2008: Sent response to RFE.

12/18/2008: NOA on RFE.

01/07/2009: Response for I-765: Current Status: Card production ordered.

01/17/2009: Received EAD in the mail

01/26/2009: Interview Notice.03/16/2009... It's a Date!!!

03/16/2009: Interview done.... Approved!

03/28/2009: Green Card in mail!!! Yeay!!!

Removal of Condition 2011

02/23/2011: Sent I-751 Packet

02/25/2011: USPS Delivery Confirmation

02/28/2011: NOA

03/03/2011: Check Cashed per VSC

04/18/2011:Biometrics Appointment

08/25/2011:Approval Notice

N-400 Timeline

02/19/2012: Sent N-400 To Phoenix AR Lockbox

I wouldn't worry. We sent our packet almost a week before you and our check was just cashed on Tuesday. Should be any day now. Good luck!

Now we are just waiting for the NOA. Am I correct in thinking that you cannot check for online updates until you get the NOA with your case #?

Removal of Conditions NOA: 2/24/11

Biometrics Appt: 8/15/11

ROC Approval: 9/30/11

Card Production Ordered: 10/11/11

Card Received: 10/15/11
