Just file all the AOS form in her married name..... thats all you need to do...

This is not a problem, Changing name is normal and expected. There is a place on the G-325A that is submitted at the AOS for the beneficiary that indicates other names this is where maiden names can be entered.

I'm actually changing my first name too altogether with the last name ....

Will see what they will do abt it..hopefully it will go smoothly. Otherwise my husband will probably kill me, cuz he didn't like the idea...

Lucero dropped her first name and used her middle name for a firsta name with her family name in the middle.

There were no questions or problems at all from USCIS. We did have a little trouble from the folks at SS but that was just a problem in the way they entered the name in the computer.

She is adjusting from K-1. The purpose of a K-1 is to come here to be married. She will submit a copy of the marriage certificate with the I-485. File with her married name if she plans to continue using that name. They will figure it out

Has she applied for an SSN. Should use the married name for that as well if she will be using that name.

How does this apply to a K3, if anyone knows? My wife and I were married in Thailand, and she wants to change both her first and last names. I can understand changing the last name not being a problem, but what about the first name?

The I-485/I-864EZ don't have a section, like the G-325/I-765, where we can indicate "All other names Used". I'm afraid something will get omitted which will ultimately delay the entire process.

Any suggestions?

My married name is a hyphenated name made up of my maiden family name and my husbands last name. We filed all of our documents using my hyphenated name and had no trouble and the green card was all correct showing the correct name

we got the same prolem. My Girlfriend is US citizen. We want to keep our last names after the marriage because my name is hard to pronounce for the americans and I just have a lot of problems with it... always have to spell my last name. So we decided to do it like that.. So it should be fine and they wont have any doubts ?
