Hi all,

We sent out K-1 visa application in last December and have received both an email notification, as well as a hard copy of the notification that they have received it (sent to California centre). They gave us a case number to check the progress online. The case number was not recognised and we called them to ask. They said that the case number was in their system and they need about 30 days before it will be online.

It has been more than 30 days and our case number still cannot be found, and I'm getting a little worried. Has anyone experienced this before?

My fiance is American and he will be moving to a new city in about a months time. I know there is a online form on the website that we can send to change he address. Is that all? Or is there some other forms we need to fill and people to inform? Would it affect the process?

Many thanks to all!

For ours (about six months ago), the Case number on the original receipt was not the same Case number when it was transferred to the National Benefits Center. They gave us a different number when it was transferred and we could track it.
