No clue. Perhaps that field office has a lot of cases. More than likely you will be assigned an interview date soon! If not, and you've been waiting for over 6 months get in touch with the congressman for your district.

yeah.. it's better to have no RFE :D

east coast is probably slower than those who re from west coast... i see in the hartford

local office that they are processing those who filed last sept 2010..so all i can do is wait...

i forgot to tell you guys that i got my interview letter yesterday!!

my interview is on june 15th! :D expect the unexpected indeed!! ^_^

but my online case status is still on the initial review so :/

my letter was sent may 9th and it got here may 12th! im

nervous/excited! xD!!! hopefully approval is the best bday gift i'd ever have!!

guess who just got her interview notice today!!

just received the email like 2 seconds ago. so need to wait for the formal document. interview set for may 25th. really relieved...

lol omg can't they just move their visit on the day or a day after the interview? XD but you know..interview isn't like an exam or something that you have to retain some infos that you don't like in your brain...so you must be just fine :)

APPROVED!!!

well kinda :)... the stupid immigration doctor forgot to check ONE TINY LITTLE BOX!!! (can you believe it) and they have to do a full background check cos for some reason they only submitted half the form or whatever. so have to drive aaaall the way back to boston once to drop off the paper with the ticked box. but the fellow stamped "approved" on the formy so i think we're pretty much 'A' for away.

just a quick run thru of events. boston parking suuuucks. we parked like a 15min walk away from the place. got there 20min early. when we got called in the dude said he was gonnna take hubby in first to chat to him for a few min then he'd come get me. man did i freak out. but my husband's a super star if he hadn't been there i'd've puked everywhere. anyway, five minutes later the dude came and got me. he seemed nice but professional. not overly chatty. and thank the lord by the time i sat down all he asked me were the general "yes/no" questions on the form. aren't those a laugh? and that was that. afterwards my husband told me that he asked him mostly bout my family (mom, dad & bro's) and what they did for a living and such and his own family. and then he took a peek at our gazillion pics and got thru half way and then went to get me.

now i know he stamped "approved" and he pretty much said it wont be too long for the check and if i get the doctor form in soon but i'm still trying not to be negative and think the worst. just gotta breathe.

anyway, that's my story. please of please check they checked all the boxes man (esp part 2 question 1). it's really an unnecessary hinderance. i hated the dr and i was so glad to be over with it. i can't believe i have to go back there. bleh!

hope this helps you liz16... goodluck with ur stuffs. i'm so relieved and really, it isn't that big a deal :). we were supposed to have champagne but my parents are fast asleep with the jet lag hahaha. maybe tomorrow :)
