When I called, she asked me my Alien # and my receipt # then she told me, "I can see you did your biometric on 02/24

your cases should be appear online after tommorow"

btw when you call, its a robot, in my case it was 1 for english, then 2 and 6

and the phone ring just one time and someone pick up the phone (very very fast)

Well the ead got here today...but its useless since I cant get a ssn because I don't have a valid passport....yay! sooo lame. Wondering if I should renew passport now or after interview???

Well the ead got here today...but its useless since I cant get a ssn because I don't have a valid passport....yay! sooo lame. Wondering if I should renew passport now or after interview???

If it were me, I would renew it now. Interview isn't going to have an affect on your passport. You will need it if you want to travel back home anytime soon after you get your green card. And you know how things roll in Jamaica, nothing is an easy task. It's going to take a minute to get it renewed so I would start working on it asap.

If it were me, I would renew it now. Interview isn't going to have an affect on your passport. You will need it if you want to travel back home anytime soon after you get your green card. And you know how things roll in Jamaica, nothing is an easy task. It's going to take a minute to get it renewed so I would start working on it asap.

SO! Guess what? I went down to the social security office again today, well yesterday...with my ead and birth certificate...and they accepted those woohoo!! :dance: I should get the card in two weeks yay!!!

01/13/2011 - Day 1 - Delivery Confirmation at USCIS Chicago Lockbox

01/18/2011 - Day 6 - Electronic (E-mail/SMS) confirmation of acceptance

01/19/2011 - Day 7 - Checks for I-130 and I-185 cashed

01/22/2011 - Day 10 - NOA received in the mail

02/02/2011 - Day 21 - Called USCIS regarding not receiving biometric appointment

02/05/2011 - Day 24 - Received biometric appointment dated 2/2, for 3/2

02/07/2011 - Day 26 - Biometric walk-in done

02/15/2011 - Day 34 - Called USCIS regarding not seeing my cases online

02/17/2011 - Day 36 - AOS shows up online, interview scheduled for March 24

02/22/2011 - Day 41 - Received interview letter in the mail

03/10/2011 - Day 57 - EAD & AP approved

03/19/2011 - Day 66 - EAD & AP "combined" card received

03/24/2011 - Day 71 - Interview, Green card approved

11/12/10 - Got Married

12/16/10 - Medical Examination (I-963)

12/22/10 - I got my sealed mail(I-963)

01/25/11 - Day 000 - Mailed I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131 (USPS Express Mail)

01/26/11 - Day 001 - Delivered to Chicago IL, Lockbox

01/31/11 - Day 005 - Checks cashed

02/09/11 - Day 014 - NOA received in the mail

02/14/11 - Day 019 - Received Biometric appointment dated 2/2/2011, for 2/24/2011

02/24/11 - Day 029 - Biometric done

02/28/11 - Day 033 - Called USCIS regarding not seeing my cases online

03/24/11 - Day 057 - 2 receipts number appeared online EAD & AP approved

03/29/11 - Day 062 - USCIS ordered production of the EAD card

04/02/11 - Day 066 - EAD & AP "combined" card received

04/05/11 - Day 069 - Apllied for my SSN

04/11/11 - Day 075 - Social Security Card received

06/06/11 - Day 131 - Started to work - my bday - my second year in USA

08/22/11 - Day 1?? - Received by mail AOS interview on 09/26/11 @ 1:45pm Federal Plaza

08/27/11 - Day 1?? - Received by mail Cancellation of the interview.

08/29/11 - Day 1?? - Received by mail AOS interview on 10/03/11 @ 9:00am Holtsville (Long Island)

10/03/11 - Day 1?? - Green Card Approved "On October 3,2011,we ordered production of your new card" (appeared online)
