Usually, a K-1 visa holder that files for AOS after marriage -

benefits from MOST of the background checks already being performed.

Background checks take some time.

So, ya, it is less time, for a K-1 visa holder (IMO, based on them there background checks turnaround time)

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Online status is hit or miss... even if you get it, it looks exciting, but it doesn't work and is useless. That has nothing to do with what visa you are adjusting from.

Biometrics appt has to do with the traffic at your local office. If they are slow, you can get bio appt fast. If they are backed up, it will take a while. Also nothing to do with what visa you are adjusting from.

It has only been 10 days since your NOA1 was issued. Settle in for a wait.

Good luck.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!
