I have nocticed when reading some members post, that they don't have timelines filled out. Please fill out your timeline. It does this message board no good if you just post "Approved" and we have no idea how long or what it took to get you to that.

Besides, updating the timeline will update the statistical data that VJ uses to estimate approvals.

Correct and not just a timeline as a signature on your profile, but the timeline that provides the statistics that we all can use.

I completely agree.

In fact, I would go so far as to say that people who simply refuse to create a timeline, even after being asked to do so over and over again, yet ask TONNES of questions, are really just asking to be ignored.

One question though, I'm not sure when the U.S. Embassy/Consulate in Guangzhou actually received our package from NVC, anyone care to help me out with this one?

I've listened!! Some of us do.. I was actually enthused to read that there was a timeline.. my mistake for missing or forgetting that this was out there. So.. posting here to make sure my timeline shows up on the side and I don't have to enable anything in my account.

YESTERDAY I received two things.. my notification of approval from the VSC for my I-129F.. as well as a notification from the NVC that they have my petition and will send it to Mumbai in 1 week! I'm so happy.. In looking at the processing times for I-129F for Vermont it seemed that I wouldn't be even looked at until later in the year.. YES!!!

Thanks to all unsung heros out there who unknowingly helped me fill out the documents by finding answers in these forums! Mine went through without 1 RFE thank goodness!!!!!!!!

Yeah.. I was absolutely shocked.... I can't believe it went through so quickly.. I am clueless as to why because of the processing times stated.. but whatever it was it worked! It's absolutely unbearable to be away, so I'm thankful.. and I wish the same for everyone on here..
