What should my wife do with her I-94 after AoS?

My Wife entered on K-1 and still has her expired I-94 from this entry. Her AoS has already been approved. If she departs the US again, should she turn in the I-94 from the K-1 entry? If not, what should she do with it?

If she travels somewhere she needs to hand the I-94 over to the CBP.

I still have mine stapled in my passport even tho iv had my green card since Dec 09.

Keep it in her passport and immigration will take it out if they want next time she travels, otherwise I would just save it in case for some reason you need it for paperwork, etc. (can't see why, but its an important document so I would keep it.

Put it in the folder labeled "USCIS" which you hopefully created already. If you haven't done so, do it now. You will feed this folder for many years to come and should keep it until at least 2 years after your wife becomes a US citizen. If she does not plan on becoming one, you should keep the folder for as long as she has a Green Card.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . . The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic . . . . There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.

Agreed. Once an immigrant has a green card then there is no reason there should be an I-94 in their passport.

Agreed twice. She is a LPR now - no need to give I-94 up to the airline next time she travels, because she does not need to exit from her non-immigrant I-94. Keep it or turn it in to CBP - but not the airline. I would be scared they would put an exit stamp on it and classify her as a non-immigrant or something - which could be a problem.

You wife still has her's because she didn't have an interview. Everyone that I know who has had an interview, including my wife, has had the I-94 removed from their passport by the staffer prior to receiving the temporary stamp. No need to keep it, except for the memories.....
