I just received notification that I-130 for my wife is approved, and she should get NVC package next.   I was going through I-130 guide on the frontpage, and I see that this package consists of several forms to be filled out by both of us. How does this work now? Do I fill out my forms (affidavit of support, tax returns, and whatever else is needed) and send it to my wife, and then she includes it with her forms? Or how this works from now on?

Also, I was wondering if any further evidence of our marriage will be asked for, or this is all over with I-130 approval? Is she going to need to submit any evidence with NVC package, or maybe take some to her interview once it comes that far?

I appreciate your responses and your help. Thanks!

Congratulations! Great news.

Read this:

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/EZGuideSpouse

and this

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/LingChe_NVC_ShortCut

and you should get all the answers you need. She'll have to fill out and sign couple forms, fill you and NOT sign one of them. Read the guides. If you are proactive and don't waste your time waiting for NVC's move, then you can speed up this process to 4-6 weeks tops

Good luck!

**The Affidavit of Support(I-864, and supporting docs:tax returns, pay stubs etc) is to be filled out by YOU the petitioner(and the joint -sponsor if you will be needing one)

**The IV package (DS230 form) is to be filled and signed by YOUR WIFE, the beneficiary.

**Save the further evidence of marraige for the interview stage

Good luck!

barcoded DS-3032 not needed, at all.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Thanks people, very helpful!

Just another quick questions, when creating a barcode for DS-3032 are dashes supposed to be included in receipt number?

You can send the DS3032 by email, no barcode needed. Just an email(FROM THE BENEFICIARY) to NVC stating your choice of agent.

This is the exact format I used, mailed to NVCINQUIRY@state.gov:

Email Subject:DS-3032: Mrs O. Case number: DBLXXXXXXXXXX

NVC Case No: DBLXXXXXXXXXX

Petitioner's Name: Mr O.

Petitioner's Date of Birth: XXX XX XXXX

Beneficiary's Name: Mrs O.

Beneficiary's Date of Birth: XXX XX XXXX

Declaration of Choice of Address and Agent for Immigrant Visa applicant

My name is Mrs O. My visa case number is DBLXXXXXXXXXX

Per the DS-3032 (Choice of Address and Agent for Immigrant Visa Applicants), I would like to appoint my husband as my agent of choice to receive all future correspondence from the U.S. Department of State. His contact information is provided below:

Name: Mr O.

Address:XXXXXX

Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXX

Email: XXXX@XXXX.com

All mail from the U.S. Department of State concerning my immigrant visa should be sent to the address and email above.

Please let me know if you need additional information. Thank you.
