Hi everyone, it will be greatly appreciated if you can help to solve my problem..

I received my green card in Nov 2010. In November 2010 I checked my case status, it says: On November 23, 2010, the post office returned the notice we last sent you on this case I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN as undeliverable. This may have serious effects on processing this case. Please call 1-800-375-5283 to update your mailing address for this notice to be re-sent.

I was surprised because I never change my address, and I did receive my other notices from USCIS. So I called the 800 number and explained my situation. A few days later the Immigration office resent the I-130 approval notice to me and I received it. I thought it was over, but after a few days I received another letter from Immigration office saying as courtesy they resent the approval notice to me, but since the post office didn't return the mail to them this time, they "Must conclude the mail is lost"...in the letter they want me to file another document if I need the copy of I130 approval and let them know my new address..

I called 800 number again but the customer representative said just ignore that letter from USCIS.

So should I just ignore the letter? Just wondering if this will affect my status..I am in conditional green card status.

Thank you!

In your status part it says that the "letter was returned to them as undeliverable". So they must have gotten it back or they wouldn't post that it was returned as undeliverable.

It sounds like an error on their part but they are not willing to accept they made a mistake lol. I would just ignore the letter but keep an eye out for any other papers they mail you.

If you can write your name on a paper and tape it in the mailbox ( if it isn't already ).

You have 2 year or 10 year card?? You posted this to removal of conditions, yet you indicate something was lost with regard to I-130 which is an immigrant visa petition.

If you have 10 year card, more than likely that was an error on USCIS part, and ignore it.

If you have 2 year card, again ignore it, but remember to file the I-751 around Sep-Nov 2012

Thank you for your answer!

I have 2 year card. I received my green card before I received my I130 approval. I was wondering if I should tell USCIS that I didn't change my address and I did receive the I130 notice. But the 800 customer representative said just ignore it..By the way, my husband filed the I130 for me, so those I130 letters were all mailed to him. Just don't want the USCIS question if we really live together or something. He received other I130 related letters before, but the I130 approval notice was resent by USCIS.

Thank you for your respond! One thing I did notice is that in my mailbox there was only my last name(our landlord did it I guess). And I didn't change my name to my husband last name because of the chinese tradition..........

You can always file an AR-11 with your current address just in case they have a typo on file.
