Moving to Waiver's and Admin Processing forum...

Is anyones guess, many simply get married, while waiting for USCIS.

USCIS does one of 3 things:

  • Expires and closes the K-1, telling you to try again
  • Reafirms it, sending back to consulate for another interview
  • Revokes it, this may cause problems with future petitions.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Have you put in a service request? That should cause them to look at it and at least give you status.

How to put in a service request? My petition is also being sent back on Jan 11,2011.

You should tell them that you have married since the interview and wish to cancel the K1 because you are now applying for the CR1 visa. Leaving it to be reviewed opens the door to it being denied and headaches later on.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
