I don't think it makes him an Ayatollah. That comparison gives the Ayatollah a bad name. He has stated on numerous occasions, that as soon as the first bullets were fired, he'd be back in Thailand helping the reds. I guess he thought Paris would be more fun than a smelly encampment in downtown Bangkok.

Sometimes my sarcasm is hard to digest.

By Ayatollah I didn't mean the devil incarnate,

just a political exile (like Lenin) who had been

successful in returning home in triumph.

Aside from that observation I would tend to agree that such comparison gives the Ayatollah a black eye.

Where should I look for one-way flights to BKK. Date is very flexible. Hard to look on Orbitz as they lock you in to a date.

Looks like most of the leaders gave themselves up. Positive move. I've been in a Thai police station.... Not fun, but these guys deserve it. I wonder if Dan Rivers surrendered?
