So my wife and I went to the new ASC in Austin for her biometrics appointment. Place is pretty much empty and they give us a form to fill out with her name, alien number, case number, etc after checking her ID. We fill it out and they come and get us and they guy scans barcodes on the appt letter which has all the information we filled out.

Why do they ask to fill out the form which no one looks at anyway???

Other than that... it was impressively efficient.. scan the appt form, confirm the iinfo that comes up, scan fingers and take picture and done. We were in and out in under 10 min.

We already got transferred to CSC to hopefully that's it. I included a copy of the vaccination record and no I-693 noting that it should have been in the packet they got when she entered on the K-1. Seems sometimes that works and sometimes you get an RFE. /crosses fingers I don't have to waste time and money on another medical...

The other people waiting tried to speak spanish to her. I told her that would happen but she didn't believe me... can't help but laugh every time.

I'm in Dallas. Happens to my wife all the time. Especially at Mexican restaurants.

ahaha that's funny, I got that too. They just started chatting to me in spanish and I just like.. errr... sorry. I felt like they think I pretend I dont know spanish - like in Thailand if you look so Thai but cant understand Thai we sometimes think they are kinda a snob, you know?

My MIL doesnt believe me that hispanic people think I'm hispanic, when we went to Mexico people just dont think twice in talking to me in spanish - it's so weird.

Ont he other note.. I should learn spanish.. i'm so lazy to learn another language though  may be I"ll have my baby know 3 languages..hehe

Today was a good day. It proved that no man can cheat the country and get away with it. He is finally a broken crook/criminal. I hope Thailand can move forward now.

It's a start in a good direction - the only problen now is that eventhough there are many people coming forward saying they will bomb the country and take over the government, nobody is doing anything to those people who proved to be a terrorist.

How can a person who "announced' he will do everything to destroy Thailand and said he will destroy peace until he gets what he wants still get away? especially the bombed in Bangkok (there's a guy who posted his vedio on youtube saying he'll do this houes before it happened)

I really hope the police start to move their big #### and protect the people first not their pocket.
