Is there some kind of weird things about Thais and frogs? We had one come on to our patio and the wife is freaking out. I mean really freaking out.

Mine has the same reaction to geckos... needless to say... she HATES the Geico commercials, and refuses to watch them when the gecko is on! :lol:

Rin's not afraid, said they make good eating! :whistle:

Of course, she likes to catch spiders, cicadas, lightning bugs, moths, butterflies, etc (and a chipmunk on our porch - but only once since it bit her). Never harms any of them, just takes them off the screen porch to 'set them free'.

Had to show her a picture of a black widow, since I had seen one a few years ago under a flower pot here. Told her it was definitely not something she wanted to carry around!

caterpillars...to the point of crying. I made the mistake of chasing her around saying "he can't get off this stick even if he wanted to"....then I suddenly understood the Guantanimo caterpillar torture. I thought she was laughing only to see the tears and I felt like a heel.

Frogs are OK, she's not fond of snakes but caterpillars she panics even if i pretend my finger is one on her arm!

I walked under a ladder once on the sidewalk only to be reprimanded. I told her karma already happen...ladder can't change it but she didn't believe me

we went to a Thai restaurant at her request (for dinner ideas) but the server had the personality of a doorknob. She didn't talk to him at all since he was BKK Thai and made no efforts to speak Thai when I did. He didn't seem to be happy about working there but this place imports their workers in a student visa then pays $3.50 an hour making them repay the plane ticket and who knows what else. Cheap labor since they stay for several years this way.

We ate some egg rolls and left. She's still looking for Thais. We'll try elsewhere later on....

Hey Hyena...try Sala Thai on U street in DC. Its great...but mainly students as well. Ask to talk to one of the chefs named Kuhn Toom. She is a friend of ours. I'm sure she'd talk Thai with your wife :thumbs:

The only thing I hate is spider :crying: I love Gaigo's geckos and I love frogs - not fond of snakes but not afraid of them.. cant stand spiders.. did I mention that yet?
