DS160

Greetings and salutations.

My Fiance, Donette, (after we filled out the ds 156, 157 etc.), had to go online and do the DS160. After she arrived for her interview, they asked why her pictures were not on it. She told them it did not allow for it. Interviewer said it was a new form, but Donette used the old form, because that is what they had online. Anyway, they took her pics she had on her old ds156-7, and attached those. In the end the interview was no good, because they needed tax forms from me, which is impossible, since I don't pay taxes. So I had to jump through a bunch of hoops, showing my VA disability award letter, Soc Sec award letter and bank statements and a long letter explaining all this. As of today, 27 January, we have heard nothing back. We had the papers delivered by cgo21 or whatever it is called, 2 days ago.

Anybody know how I can contact someone at the Manila embassy to see if they actually have their hands on it now?

I wrote an email and on the letter include what my phone number was and offering to jump through hoops if they needed anything else. Okay, not in those exact words. But i don't know who I can contact in person to see if they have done anything since they got them.

Anyway, hoping for a swift resolution to the problems.

try calling these numbers 3012000 ext. 5184 or 5185..call them early in the morning coz after 8am, it will be super busy..These were the numbers my 2 friends used wen they wanted to know the status of their visa and wen they asked if the papers they submitted in 2GO has been received by Manila USEM

Has something changed? I thought the DS-160 was not to be used for K visa's in Manila. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
