Well, it was only a matter of time before this thread took this turn. Unfortunately, simply congratulating someone (who never even asked for an expedite, so everything is completely out of their control) seems to be impossible.

LOL........ well you know who is going to have a pickin' cow over this one!

It sure as hell don't matter if you are a government worker! I am currently active in the U.S. military and have been serving for over 10 years (including a tour to Iraq). There are plenty of us that are patiently waiting to be with our loved ones. We can die for our country tomorrow, but are delayed (background check... seriously??) to bring the person we want to spend our life with to the country in which we are fighting for. I'm currently working with my representatives to change this...

Sorry to highjack the post, just wanted to throw that out there!

** our days will come you all ** I'm not upset.. it's not my visa category but I do believe that it should be a first come first serve. Applied for my Naturalization.. lets some some changes going.... it's in me :protest: (not to the OP)

I think the last thing this thread needs is the baiting of other users to respond.

Personally, I'm thankful to those who may have negative things to say but are keeping them to themselves.

I have been reading this thread, and I'm keeping quiet because there is nothing I can say that will be of any value to anybody.

So don't let me disturb anyone. Keep on posting, and I'll keep on reading.

I'm not sure where the hostility is coming from. I know you are happy for those who are approved. I said I am thankful for the people who AREN'T happy and are managing to keep that thought to themselves. It's not the OP's fault that the system is broken.

I understand your frustrations, Al. It'll be your time before you know it. :)

Im not being hostile in the slightest.. you clearly took a lighthearted comment the wrong way and thats the unfortunate side of these online thingies.. Im not trying to turn this into a debate or baiting anyone.. Im delighted for the OP and in no way suggested its their fault so please don't twist my words.. I have a pretty good idea what Al is thinking and I TOTALLY agree..

Don't worry coconuts ive no hostility towards you at all.. There are a couple of "people" on this forum who rile me but you are not one..

I remember back in July coming on this forum and ALL you got was good vibes and support.. seems a long time ago..
