Address change - help please

So...

My wife has her interview on February 7th. We did electronic processing, so everything was just scanned and emailed, then emailed back to us. We were going through her forms recently and discovered a possible oops.

When she filed her DS-230, she had a different address in Canada than she does now. She was a student in Vancouver then. Now she's back living with her Mom in Nova Scotia.

Should be change the address on the form?

I tried calling USCIS, but they punted me to the Consulate. Since the case is with the Consulate, they said there was nothing they could do. I tried calling the Consulate, but you just get a voice saying we won't talk to you unless it's an emergency.

I looked at filling out an AR-11 online, but that was for non-US citizens currently living in the US.

So now, I'm not sure what to do.

Do we change the DS-230? Or should my wife just note the change when she's at the consulate in her interview?

Thanks!

I would contact DOS Visa Services and ask: 202-663-1225 There you more than likely get address updated so "packet 4" goes to the correct place.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Now I'm confused, which packet is packet 4?

Ok, so for CR-1, Packet 4 is just interview date and medical appointment info. We got that via Electronic Processing. Whew, my heart stopped there for a minute, I thought we completely missed a packet or something.

I would fill out the forms again with correct address and bring them to the interview, make sure the first thing I told them was the change of address give them the corrected forms and make sure they changed it right in front of me lol.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

As to the change of address - if we've requested the Halifax DHL office for where her Visa is delivered, and nothing else should be going to the old address. Is it that big of a deal?

It shouldn't really, I don't think, but i'm always nervous with this stuff so I try to go above and beyond just in case!

I would tho add her name to your mailbox (if it isn't already) - They had a lot of issues for some reason delivering my mail, regular mail and uscis mail, when my name was not listed on the box.

You can bring a corrected form with you to the interview to be safe but you will also be asked to review the previously submitted DS-230 for accuracy and you can provide the correct address then. Good luck.
