We have been waiting for my fiance's visa to come in the mail since jan. 12. No one can tell us what is going on and today is the final day inwhich we have to wait to call an inquire about the status. We were approved and still havent received the visa from DHL in canada. IF the montreal office cant help us (becaues they havent been too helpful in the past 2 weeks) do we need to contact a congressman? if so how do we know who to call??

That is correct. But the consulate gave us a reference number after his approval and nothing is showing up under the DHL reference tracking number box. It says "no information for this reference number". The montreal consulate will not help us at all. They say that "What we see on website is what they see". That may be true but still...what is taking so long? People that we have spoken to on the website that had the same interview date in montreal have already received their visa back.

Mine took about three weeks to get from Montreal to our DHL location and they never updated our status! We only found out when they called us one day. Maybe call your DHL location and see if they can give you more info! Good luck!
