CSC to TSC to NVC: the Saga continues

I called today at NVC and they told me to wait for 4-6 weeks from approval date. Oh god, there is another wait just to send documents from one place to another. 4-6 weeks? Are you kidding me? what are they gonna do for 4-6 weeks on approved petition?

You tell me! We have been waiting 25 days and still nothing!

I spoke to NVC today as well.....and they told me the same thing. As soon as I got my NOA2 hardcopy, I called my senator and she told me to call her on the 12th of Feb if we have no case number by then. She feels it will be unusual if we don't have a case number by then. I pray every day for us all . I feel such a relief having been approved for some reason I am not as anxious about getting to NVC, I think it will happen in a timely manner, for Texas. I guess on the bright side this has given us enough time to gather every bit of documentation and evidence we may need for our expedite. I miss my hubby so very much, planning my trip over so I can go with him to his medical. Can't wait to hold and hug him again, how sad, we are all kept away from the ones we love so very much.

Not feeling negative, just sad that so much time is passing .... every minute without Gary is like time lost we'll never get back.

How come Ron got to NVC so fast? Just in 4 days!!! [did he have uscis expedite? I see he is doing NVC expedite] And then how come Val and Gary, although they can do NVC expedite, they are still stuck somewhere between TSC and NVC??? What is going on here?

Ron said that a woman, Barbara Velarde, a USCIS Service Center Operations Director personally helped him after he sent her an email and MADE SURE that his case would be taken care of in a TIMELY! manner. *shrugs shoulders*

If only we could all be so lucky.

Maybe this is old news. If so I believe that it bears repeating.

I called NVC this evening and spoke with an "operator".

I asked if they had assigned a case number for me. She said no.

She said that since it was more than 15 days since the I-797 approval date; I should do an email inquiry.

The email address to send the inquiry is: nvcresearch@state.gov.

She also said that the email subject line should contain the USCIS case number and I should attach a PDF of the I-797 approval notice.

In the message body I gave a brief description of the purpose of my email along with my name and a phone number.

I just received this auto-reply:

e-mail is an auto response. Please do not respond.

We review and reply as appropriate to all e-mails in the order they are

I have done too. no info found. NVC can not do anything if USCIS don't ship our case to NVC.

My case has been approved on Feb 3 2011. I have not received my hard copy of NOA2 yet. What should I do?

Can we send the email to email address that we find on alert regarding 36000 cases transferred to TSC, that our cases has not been transferred to NVC? thanks

May I suggest contacting your Congress and Senate people. (if you haven't already)

Just wait a bit. We got our hard copy of noa2 after 8 days of approval. Yours is on its way I'm sure!
