Sooo I figured I'd go ahead and start this thread for all of us [former] TSC hostages waiting for our NVC case #s! So far there's only been one of us that has gotten to NVC.

As for me, I spoke to an operator on 1/24/11 and she told me to wait 15 business days for the case to be received and entered in the system (that'd be around 2/4/11). So that's what's going on with me.

Our case is also in queue for input in system.Operator asked us to check on Monday.I don't know what is the process on input. How they make bathes by date arrived or otherwise.

Our case was approved on 17 Feb by CSC, and have already payed the AOS invoice. Hang in there and keep calling AVR to see if your case number is assigned and then go to an operator and give them emails address and ask for IIN. After you will have the IIN you can send the COA email appointing your agent for further processing.

Good luck. You should hear the good news very soon.

07.19.2010 - NOA1

05.23.2011 - POE - LAX

06.01.2011 - Welcome letter arrived :)

06.04.2011 - 10 year GC received by mail :)

Hopefully it won't take too much longer! Please let us/me know when you get your # so I will have an idea of when I should get mine (since we both got to NVC on the same date). Good luck! :D

I'm not Saylin... but yes.... that is correct. The sponsor and joint sponsor both fill out I-864. See post 1053 in this thread.

What a great question for the March NVC 2011 thread !

Usually, when a casefile is expedited at NVC, the payment process for NVC stops, and the Embassy IV unit collects any remaining payments. Things seem 'in limbo' during the case transfer, so I can understand your confusion about what's what, and what's where, and when is what, etc etc.

That 'email set' (IIN, AOS Fee Bill, DS-3032 file) received is the DS-3032 kit mentioned in http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/221785-ds-3032-slowdown/page__view__findpost__p__3560467

I am going to hold off paying NVC for now, looks like I'll have to pay via the Embassy or it will be "overlooked"..................hmmmmmmmm, that would be nice.

Are they really going to be home in a few weeks???

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Is it a waste of time to be calling NVC every morning and every afternoon to check if my case has been entered into the system? Or should I only call once a day? I'm like super paranoid after the CSC/TSC fiasco. I always get screwed over...

Jenny - I suggest 10 AM and 11 PM, EST, so that's twice a day, and yes, including weekends (updates via automation usually hit over the weekend and are there)- hit the AVR only.

ONCE you have the casenumber, call back next day business day, follow this mini-how-to -> http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/221785-ds-3032-slowdown/page__view__findpost__p__3560467

It has been 15 days since my NOA2, my case is "in the building" but I still don't have an NVC number. After being told to wait 15 days they just tell me to wait "another week, another 2 weeks, etc.". I feel like I'm back at the Texas Service Center. Is there anything I can do? Or do I just have to wait it out like TSC?

Thanks for any help, kind regards
