Ofcourse TAJ is one of the best Hotels in India. However, Chennai has a hot & humid climate! :(

Hot and humid- just like Miami summers B-)

Congrats celldoc!! One step forward........

Any updates on your end? Last I read I believe you had said your family may be in the States by the end of this month :)

Darnell mentioned along those lines yesterday

I asked him why, did not hear any answer yet!

Grats! Yes, you're out of the TSC black hole. yes.gif

It's not mandatory. But it's a good idea to send something in to show proof of current income (such as 2010 tax returns, employment letter, pay stubs, bank statements). My husband hasn't filed yet for 2010 taxes, so he submitted an employment letter and I believe it was 8 months of pay stubs.

Yeah, I'm sending six months of pay stubs along with an employment letter. I get paid a different amount each paycheck because my schedule always changes, but if you add up all of my paychecks for the last six months, it amounts to slightly more than half of what I'm putting down as my current annual income and what is going into my manager's letter. I think if I had a more regular paycheck, I might not be too worried about including an employment letter, but for me, I just like the extra bit of evidence to corroborate what I'm stating as my income.

so just a quick question on AOS...

for example I'm making somewhere around $16000

and i get a co-sponsor who is making the same $16000

1) does the NVC combine those income($32000) when looking at poverty guideline...

or do i need a cosponsor who individualy is making more then the poverty guideline...

i hope this make sense... im confused... the AOS will be for 1 person

ur input is greatly appreciated...

actually, thats not true. The co sponsor has to make it themselves, unless the co sponsor fills out an 864A form (relative living in the same household). If it is a standard I-864 form, they need to make 125% beyond the poverty guidelines by themselves.
