That was EXACTLY what the operator told me. Mine was also shipped on the 16th, and she said it's at NVC now. Why would it take 4-6 weeks for a number to be generated?

Saylin said, however, that that is their STANDARD answer.

Got the same answer yesterday, and tyhis morning AVR said no case found.

I called operator 11pm EST tonite and guess what, we have the numbers!

So hopefully yours too.

I read it many times but keep forgeting:

When should we send DS-3032 email? Operator said that wait until they send

us email!

Guys, I have another question (one that I have asked before but it's still bugging me lol): I have a certified copy of my husband's birth certificate- he had a new copy made because his original one is not in the best shape. The certified copy has all the stamps and everything on it but I'm worried that NVC will ask for the original one. So if you had the original, beat up one, and a brand new and clean certified copy from the dept of vital statistics from that country, which would you send?

I faced the same problem. I needed to save the form. It let me type but not save. Then I came across this solution from this forum.

Download foxit reader. http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/reader/

I used this to edit and save my ds230 as PDF. I even filled it by myself and sent it to the beneficiary.

Hey Saylin or Dan,

I have my IIN and case number have emailed the choice of agent (no response yet) but am unable to pay the aos fee. Is it because it is after business hours on the east coast? The page keeps refreshing and doesn't ask about any billing information.

Thanks!

Good morning to all, I am sure this has already been asked/answered, but I couldnt find the thread.

I was approved on 2/16/2011, and I just received my NVC#. so now all i need to do is call NVC and get the IIN(Invoce Identification Number)and thats it. I've read somewhere asking for the beneficiary ID #, is this also correct? and what is this for?

Also, once I get the NVC#, I can submit the DS-3032 form/email and then wait till the invoice gets generated and pay for the fees, or do I need to or do I need to wait for the DS3032 to get approve...

Please help.

Yeah, I don't know where the hell my original birth certificate is. I just sent in a certified copy I ordered back in August.

That's what I have. Works like a charm yes.gif

Grats on getting your case number! Call up an operator and get the IIN and give over your email addresses.

Don't worry about the beneficiary ID. That's only for those doing the online forms which are limited to select countries. Your country is ineligible.

Yes, you can email the DS-3032. Check the payment portal, as soon as a bill appears, pay it. Don't wait for anything.
