I wouldn't be. You got confirmation from two sources. But I'm sure you'll only believe it when you get a case number. It seems like the blue dot moves around quite a lot for all TSC refugees.

This is very true! I will be calling NVC every day next week. I pray that it gets there soon! Ahhh! Crazy times!

You probably don't have to worry. The whole USCIS case status thing seems to be really glitchy.

Mine is still on post decision activity though. It was approved on 2/11, sent to NVC on 2/16... and still no case number.

Yeah, I hope it's just human error.

Quick question every one, when you file for AOS and you have to include your taxes, do you actually include all pages that come with taxes form, cause if that is the case then it would be a pretty thick envelope to send to NVC...or do you include only the first page wih the signature?

NVC where are you

I would suggest ordering tax transcripts from the IRS:

http://www.irs.gov/individuals/article/0,,id=110571,00.html

They are free, and they usually arrive in about 10 days. Otherwise, if you send copies of your tax returns, you have to send copies of Form 1040 along with all accompanying 1099s and W-2s. With the transcript, it's all there in one document (a few pages long for each one, usually) and is much more convenient.

If you use tax transcripts, that is all you need to send. No 1040s, no 1099s, no W2s. Just tax transcripts.

You don't need to include the W-2s because all of that information is included on your tax transcript. I will probably be sending my W-2 from 2010 though, since I haven't done my 2010 taxes yet and will be sending my transcripts from 2009, 2008, and 2007.

Don't worry about sending your W2s from 2010. My husband didn't. We just sent an employment letter and 7 months of pay stubs from his current job to prove income for 2010.

And don't worry about that. That's for Indian beneficiaries I believe. You just need one police certificate and that's all.

Yeah, I hadn't really decided if I would send my W-2 for last year yet, but it does seem unnecessary because I'll be sending 6 months of pay stubs and an employment letter.

Thanks Saylin, you always know what to do!

Guys, after your case was sent to NVC did your Case status reset to Initial Review? Because mine did. I just called USCIS and got escalated to a Tier-2 (first time, whee!) and he said that that's what happens after it's forwarded. Is this correct?

Noo i still have it at Post Decision Activity.

Yeah, I think they meant to change the message to that one that says something like "your case has been re-approved and send to NVC..." (I forget the exact wording). My congressman also sent me a letter stating he had written to CSC so I am assuming his following letter will state that it has already been forwarded.

I definitely had all my bases covered.
