NVC got my AOS package!

Now do I just wait until they generate a IV fee, pay it, send DS230 package and wait for SIF CC?

Yay! Grats on sending out the AOS package and NVC receiving it. Yup, now you just wait for the IV bill to appear as INVOICED, pay it, then send the DS-230 package once it appears as PAID. Then you wait for SIF and CC yes.gif

It shouldn't be taking this long to input your case and assign a case number. Have you been calling up an operator each day?

I call AVR everyday (no case number again today from the avr system) and spoke to an operator last night who said that it was received by NVC on the 21st and that I had no case number, and it could take 4-6 weeks. That was the latest update from them.

You're welcome. And no problem ;)

If you get any other questions, just ask. I'm here all day :D

One short question, is any rule of contacting NVC? Can the beneficiary call them and ask case number and give emails and obtain IIN ? Or is necessary only the petitioner.

07.19.2010 - NOA1

05.23.2011 - POE - LAX

06.01.2011 - Welcome letter arrived :)

06.04.2011 - 10 year GC received by mail :)

CSC actually replied to an email I sent earlier this week and reaffirmed the fact that my case was sent to NVC. That makes me feel better...I hope that it doesn't take a long time for the case to be entered into their systems when it finally makes it there, though.

Beneficiary is allowed. I'm the beneficiary and I'm doing all the calling and emailing :)

The 4-6 week thing is just a basic timeframe they tell everyone. I'd call up again today and see if they have a case number yet,

Yeah, my husband is the petitioner and he works full-time, so I decided to take up calling NVC and everything as I just have a part-time job from home :)

Guys, after your case was sent to NVC did your Case status reset to Initial Review? Because mine did. I just called USCIS and got escalated to a Tier-2 (first time, whee!) and he said that that's what happens after it's forwarded. Is this correct?

Well, after having to change my password at the USCIS site, I logged in and my blue dot is still over post-decision activity.

Since both D.B. and CSC confirmed by case was sent to NVC should I be worried that the status was reset?...

I wouldn't be. You got confirmation from two sources. But I'm sure you'll only believe it when you get a case number. It seems like the blue dot moves around quite a lot for all TSC refugees.

You probably don't have to worry. The whole USCIS case status thing seems to be really glitchy.

Mine is still on post decision activity though. It was approved on 2/11, sent to NVC on 2/16... and still no case number.
