That's what I was thinking, thanks, Saylin! Please stick around on the thread for a while longer because I will probably have many more questions about this process! I need your brain lol

Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere! no0pb.gif

Um, usually when you get sign in failed, it means your case is complete. But if you haven't even paid your fees, it must be something else. Are you sure you put your case number and IIN in correctly? Maybe try another browser if you're still getting a problem.

Hmm. I know someone in the February thread said that when they called an operator up, they mentioned that their computer systems were down. Perhaps that's it. Although, I just tried now and I'm able to log in fine.

well i called them, and they could not even see my status because of some "technical problems" , however i did not think it would affect the web page, any how it seems like some of us are condenmed to be dragged at every step...like mother Theresa said, I know God would not put me through something I can not over come it, I just wish He did not trust me so much ...LOL i feel the same way right now...

I'm sure it'll be fixed soon. I remember a few months ago reading about NVC having technical problems before and it was fixed within a few hours.

I'm kind of in the same situation as you, but I'm the beneficiary. I've been the one doing all the research. But that's cause my hubby works full-time while I didn't. I just tell my hubby what to do and he does it. "Pay the AOS bill." "Pay the IV bill." "Scan your AOS documents." :)

Yes, too bad today is a holiday :(

Also, don't forget, when you ask for the IIN, make sure you also ask for the beneficiary ID number. This is needed for those doing the online forms. It asks for this number on the DS-261 and the DS-260, so you need to get it!

And bug me all you want! laughing.gif

Hey! SO I sent in my optin email and got my IIN and Beneficiary ID number today. Should I go ahead and pay all my fees now and then just wait for my NVC response email? Thank yoU!

02/14/11:I-130 Approved Happy Valentines Day!

Case was approved in 212 days

NVC

03/24/11: Emailed my I-864 AGAIN because NVC is saying they did not receive it.

04/08/11: NVC robot says they are "Awaiting my Biographic Data" which I assume means they reviewed my I-864

04/11/11: NVC is saying I am missing info, that I did not send in all my documents.

04.14.11: NVC is saying i never emailed anything. I contacted my senate office, who is getting things handled for me at NVC.

Grats on sending the optin and getting your numbers. If the bills are available to pay, then yes, pay them right away! Don't forget to send the DS-261 that's online. It's the Choice of Agent form! And once the AOS appears as PAID, you can email the AOS package. Once your IV bill appears as PAID, you can then fill out the online DS-260 and email your documents after you're done.
