I think it may be specifically referring to that very letter (containing instructions for your interview), which it says to bring with you to the interview. Otherwise... what Saylin said!

I was thinking it might be that too. Either that or what I said earlier would make the most sense.

Does the petitoner need to provide a birth certificate as well??? I thought only the beneficiary had to with this form?

Tell that to the NVC misinfo hotline lol. The operator almost gave me a heart attack cause it would take me weeks to get one. He INSISTED that both he petitioner and the benefiacary would need to provide a birth certificate with the DS-230. My heart is pounding right now. Please people tell me that I don't need one.

You definitely don't need the petitioner's birth certificate. ONLY the beneficiary's is needed for the IV package. You can completely relax. I have no idea what that operator was talking about.

OK thanks! Now I just have to prove my relationship with my sister who is a co-sponsor (household member) for the AOS. This NVC is becoming a pain now.

Did you get the "NVC Electronic Email Account Auto Response" when you RESENT your AOS package?

My OPTIN was accepted yesterday. Then I (petitioner) re-sent the AOS supporting documents to NVCElectronic@state.gov. My wife (beneficiary) re-sent the DS-260 supporting document too. Surprisingly, this time we did not get the "NVC Electronic Email Account Auto Response", while we got one when we first submit those documents.

Hey did you resend the e-mail since you didn't receive an auto-reply? I just sent my supporting documents for the IV and I did not get an auto-reply either. Maybe cause its Monday and the servers are busy. Should I resend again? Booooy today is a bad day. Nothing is going right for me today. :help:

I have seen a couple of people who have not received an auto-reply when they sent thier docs. I have actually sent my docs to the EP email address like three times and they are currently reviewing them. I would say first call an operator (hopefully a nice one) and ask and if you dont get a satisfactory answer send it and wait every other hour because some times it takes a while for the reply to come in. No, I did not resend the email. My email went out on Saturday. The next day (Monday) I got an email from NVC saying that "We received electronic documentation for this case. The documentation will be reviewed and uploaded to your electronic case file." So, just give NVC a few days.

BTW, I think the IV document (DS-260) needs to be sent by beneficiary.

BTW, I think the IV document (DS-260) needs to be sent by beneficiary.

I will wait a couple of days and call on Wednesday if I don't get a reply. Since I am an agent that she has appointed, I thought I could send the e-mail myself. If it is a problem I can have my wife e-mail as well.

You don't have to provide birth certificate,only beneficiary.DS-230 (DS-260) is all about beneficiary.
