In how much time DS 230 is reviewed?we sent it on April 05,so what should be the expected date of CC.we also received and email on april 07 (checklist to submit DS230(which we did) and AOS package was reviewed.so no RFE on AOS?

thank you Charles People that are actually going through a visa process can say what they want, but I know this guys type. I have been on a few message boards and can smell a fake from a mile away.

Probably another 2 weeks and, if no RFE, then case complete.

hi everyone i called today to visa specialist and the told me the consulate send me a package and they will notified to the petitioner and the beneficiary. what is that he said package 3 but a told him , ( this is not a k3 visa , why they gonna send me a package 3?) so please somebody help!!!

What is a "visa specialist"?

hi everyone i called today to visa specialist and the told me the consulate send me a package and they will notified to the petitioner and the beneficiary. what is that he said package 3 but a told him , ( this is not a k3 visa , why they gonna send me a package 3?) so please somebody help!!!

What is a "visa specialist"?

A "visa specialist" is what they call operators at DOS.

jejeje when the case is in the consulate you can call to the operator in the department of state , they call them self "visa specialist" (they dont)...

I'd say what you have there is a case of mistaken identity and the "visa specialist" is anything but.

jejeje when the case is in the consulate you can call to the operator in the department of state , they call them self "visa specialist" (they dont)...

According to Saylin, they don't forward until you have an interview date, and as far as I know, I don't have an interview date yet so I guess it is still at NVC.

Is your case still in NVC?

It took 16 total days for my optin to be accepted, 11 business days, so it could take longer than 10 business days. I had re-sent my optin as well. I'm sure yours will be accepted soon.

Haha, yes my name really is Lindsay. I created the name 'Saylin' for an online video game and I just fell in love with it, so I've been using that name everywhere now. Who knows, maybe my real name will be Saylin one day :P

I was expecting OPTIN to be accepted yesterday but it wasn't so I gave them a call and they told me to resend it and I did. Well, today I received the OPTIN from the previuos one. It took 14 business days. I guess I should have waited another day to call lol. I resent my AOS package and I am still waiting for a police cert to come in snail mail. Once that comes I can send the supporting documnet for the IV.

I had seen that your name was Lindsay and I was still calling you Saylin all this time. Hey you can always have it as a middle name. :D Although we are coming to the end of our visa journey (at least the green card part), should we keep calling you Saylin or change it? :lol:

I don't have a DHL number. Where would I get one?

By looking at the DHL log and comparing to the NVC address, I think all the cases that are to be forwarded to embassy, are first sent to Boston, MA. Boston might be the distribution channel for NVC.
