Yeah I just finished reading you blog. Thanks for the details. I'll pass it down to my wife to read.

You're welcome. If your wife gets her medical done after April 30th, then she won't need the flu shot.

For sure she will do it after April 30. My OPTIN is not accpeted yet. I called NVC today and they told me to re-send the OPTIN. The lady said it takes no more than 10 business days for the OPTIN to be accepted. So I sent the OPTIN again. I am still waiting for the second police certificate to arrive so by the time that comes I'm sure my OPTIN will be accpeted. After that I will send the AOS again.

Hey Erick, I just noticed you got an interview date. Awesome... Best of luck....

Thank you, we are very excited.

I made a Expedite request yesterday and i got reply from NVC today saying my request is under review. can any one tell me, how long its take for NVC to make decision on expedite request? What are my chances for request? I have not submitted IV packet yet but already informed NVC that if you expedite my wife will mail them to mumbai consulate. Thanks.

NVC does not make the decision... your Embassy/Consulate approves or denies the expedite.

i sent Expedit request 4 days ago..there no emails from NVC telling me that the request under review..Is NVC have to do that?

I never received any notification that it was under review either.... Checked my email one day and saw the "expedite approved" letter.

Hey guys....

I am just curious about something. Has anyone gotten an SIF and then NOT received an e-mail the next day saying your case is complete. I am just wondering so I can get a time frame on this....NOT worried because our AVR has changed but just curious.

PEACE AND LOVE and may lots of VISA'S be issued QUICKLY!!!good.gifkicking.gif

I never received a "case complete" email; just the email that said expedite was approved and that they were sending the package to Brazil.

Haha, yes my name really is Lindsay. I created the name 'Saylin' for an online video game and I just fell in love with it, so I've been using that name everywhere now. Who knows, maybe my real name will be Saylin one day :P

Morning all. I hope everything is good in your worlds.

We had good confirmation today that our case is definitely on yesterdays shipment to London, and the consulate will be scheduling the interview date! This is great news for us, and I am hoping that London can squeeze me in before the BIG Easter holiday break and the following weeks BIG public holiday weekend for the Royal Wedding. I may end up getting caught up in the hoo ha!!

Have a great day all, and I hope the sun shines on you. good.gif

Hi all,

We just received and email stating our AOS has been received and reviewed, they asked for more financial evidence but said to talk to consulate officer about our assets. The email also stated that they are waiting for the DS-230 and civil documents to be returned. NVC received our DS-230 with all civil documents the day after our AOS was delivered. After we calmed down (LOL), I called to inform them that they have our asset info and our DS-230 with civil documents and Medea, (Operator) said this is an auto response sent when AOS has been completed so maybe, just maybe - we will have our case close soon and receive a interview date. We both have butterflies streaming through our stomachs.....

Take my advice and ignore the weird emails and comments made by operators. Providing you have given them, or give them the info they need they will get your case done quickly. Oh and, ignore the AVR - our case was complete yesterday, yet the AVR is now stating we need to provide more evidence. This is not true, as our docs are on their way to London. I think there is a lot of misinformation given out by NVC.
