Unfortunately, every now and then, someone will never have the AVR to work properly. So, if you ever want to hear updates about your case, you're going to have to call an operator. No, it's not exactly "normal", but it does happen every so often. Did you speak with an operator about this?

Hey again,

Called again today and one operator told me that the I-864 has been processed and that there is no record of the DS-230. Called again and the operator told me that both have been scanned into the system as received and there are no other updates. At least they got the goods and thank goodness the I-864 is OK. Now just keeping fingers crossed there will be no problems with the DS-230!

What a difference a day makes

Indeed! What a difference a day DOES make. I have learned (too late), that the operators/AVR/email information is around 2 days behind what is actually happening at NVC. I think they get on with the cases, but the information they put out is not the most accurate.

I;m sure your DS230 will be fine. Keep the faith - it works!

I needed to translate everything into English because they treated my case as Direct Consular Filing. You do not need translations, do not worry. I took certified copies/ originals of everything, but they never asked for my originals. In your case, since you went through NVC, you should take originals of any document that you sent as a certified copy. If you sent them your originals, no problem...if not, just take the originals with you to your interview. Do not get anything apostilled, it is a waste of time and money. Good luck!

Thank you!!!!!!

I made a Expedite request yesterday and i got reply from NVC today saying my request is under review. can any one tell me, how long its take for NVC to make decision on expedite request? What are my chances for request? I have not submitted IV packet yet but already informed NVC that if you expedite my wife will mail them to mumbai consulate. Thanks.

Tracking data entered on the 4th April is now showing. One item out to London tonight (Unlikely to be ours, but maybe), but I don't see anything for your country buddy.

Thanks, I still do not see anything leaving to my country i checked 3/31, 4/1, 4/2, 4/3, 4/4 and 4/5. Nothing

Thank you.... what is the date that NVC said they shipped it? A lot of times the tracking number will be a day prior or a day after the date that NVC gives you.

Operator told me that it was shipped on 4/1 but i checked all the dates around the date and the date, nothing

I made a Expedite request yesterday and i got reply from NVC today saying my request is under review. can any one tell me, how long its take for NVC to make decision on expedite request? For me it took 5 days to get the expedite approved.
